अगर मैं होती एक उड़ान
ख्वाबों को देती एक पंख उधार
और अरमानों को ले चलती दूर पंख पसार
अगर मैं होती एक ख्वाब
तो रात को भी देती एक मीठी नींद
और नींदों को भी देती थोड़ा सुकून का एहसास
अगर मैं होती एक एहसास
ज़िंदादिली के ज़ज्बे को हर वक्त रखती अपने पास
और टूटे आईने को भी बतला देती की है वह कितनी खास
अगर मैं होती एक लम्हा
दे भागते हुए वक्त को चकमा
मुट्ठी में कैद कर लेती सारी खुशियां
अगर मैं होती एक खुशी
बिन सोचे आंखों की नमी चुरा
हर एक लव पर खिल उठती बन एक हंसी
अगर मैं होती एक सोच
मेरी कोख से लेते जन्म अनेक सुविचार
और उन विचारों से लाती एक बदलाव की कोशिश
अगर मैं होती एक कोशिश
तो कांटों भरी राह भी ना लगती मुश्किल
और हर मंजिल को भी होती तलाश मेरी
अगर मैं होती एक तलाश
एक नए खोज में निकल पड़ता
मेरी कलम से निकला हर एक अल्फ़ाज़
अगर मैं होती एक कलम
जिंदगी के पन्नों में भर सुनहरे रंग
रच डालती एक नया इतिहास
