ज़िंदगी

ज़िंदगी के पन्नों को जब पलटकर देखा
चंद लम्हों में खुद को सिमटे हुए देखा
ये दास्तान भी कितनी अजीब है
कभी फूलों का गुलशन
तो कभी पतझड़ का मौसम
सौ दर्द है सौ ख्वाहिशें
सौ अरमान हैं सौ हैं बंदिशें
दिल कहता है तोड़ दे इन बंदिशों को
कब तक जकड़ा रहेगा इन जंजीरों में खुद को
कर ले इस दिल की सारी चाहतें पूरी
चल निकालें मिलकर आशाओं की अपनी ये टोली

इतनी रफ्तार हो तूझ में
बिजली सी तेजी हो तूझ में
कर दे अपनी तेज से इस दुनिया को चकाचौंध
दिखला दे तुझमें भी है तलवार की धार
तुझमें भी है सूरज का ताप
माना कि अंगारों से गुजरा है तू
पर तभी तो सोने सा निखरा है तू
डरना ना मुश्किलों से
हारना ना किस्मत की लकीरों से
बस रूकना नहीं थकना नहीं
गिर भी जाए तो थमना नहीं
खुद पर एतबार रख यारा
मंजिल भी मिलेगी एक दिन
चट्टानों से टकराने से

ये ज़िंदगी की पुकार है यारा
दौड़ के लगा ले गले से
चल आज़माने दे इसे आज फिर एक बहाने से
चल आज़माने दे इसे आज फिर एक बहाने से
